Samsung M21 Design

Samsung makes phones in the Galaxy M series to keep its costs down. The Samsung M21 was made for the mid-budget lineup. It has a glossy finish with a plastic back. Fingerprints are very fast and pickups very easily. You won’t get a protective case in the box, so you’ll have to purchase the case in order to keep the device safe..

Samsung Galaxy M21 is the successor of the Samsung Galaxy M20 but looks much more like the Galaxy M30s which was launched in 2019. However, you will get only Blue and Black colors in this device.

It has a big display that measures 6.4 inches and has thin bezels at the top and the sides. The chin is quite thicker. At the top, you will get a selfie camera with a waterdrop notch with a tiny earpiece right above it. The screen is big so you can reach the top of the display if you have big hands, else you’ll need to shuffle a little to reach the top.

Volume buttons are positioned a bit too high which is quite annoying for some users.. The power button and the fingerprint scanner are well placed and are easy to reach when using the device single-handed. The device measures 8.9mm in thickness which is due to the big battery. Surprisingly, the device does not feel too bulky in the hand as the sides are curved. The phone weighs at 188g.

Samsung offers a USB Type-C port at the bottom and a 15W charger in the box. You will also get a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom along with the loudspeaker and the primary microphone.

Samsung M21 Specifications and Softwares

For selfie, lovers Samsung Galaxy M21 comes with a 20-megapixel selfie camera. The device is running on top of Android 10.

Samsung Galaxy M21 comes with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a Full-HD+ resolution. Getting an AMOLED panel in this price range isn’t very common. Viewing angles are also very good. It also gets bright enough outdoors to be visible under sunlight.

Samsung uses the Exynos 9611 SoC again. This is an octa-core processor with four performance ARM Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.3GHz and four efficiency Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.7GHz. It comes with integrated Mali-G72 graphics. You will get two variants of this device, one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, and the second one with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The phone is priced at Rs. 12,699 on Amazon.

This is a dual-SIM smartphone and supports two Nano-SIM slots. You will also get a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion. There is support for dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5, dual-band Wi-Fi, and four satellite navigation systems. Samsung M21 comes with a 6,000mAh battery which is quite big.

The Galaxy M21 runs One UI 2.0 on the latest of the Android. You will get a February security patch. The UI is somewhat similar to the Galaxy M31. While setting up the device you will need to be careful, or Samsung will send you marketing notifications.

We found some preinstalled apps on smartphones, including Amazon, Netflix, Prime Video, Helo, and Dailyhunt. Earlier we have seen that Helo and Dailyhunt are generating spammy notifications, so I would recommend that you uninstall them if you don’t use them. One more thing My Galaxy app will push notifications throughout the day.

Other Features

You will get an Always-on display mode. Dolby Atmos is also available for earphones and Bluetooth headsets. You can also switch to gesture-based navigation instead of the traditional three-button layout. Other features include a Dark Mode, which takes full advantage of the Super AMOLED panel on the Galaxy M21. Samsung has also added a Game Booster feature that can block notifications and provides quick shortcuts for apps of your choice.

samsung m21

PERFORMANCE

Samsung has used Exynos 9611 which is a capable processor and can easily take care of your basic apps without any lag. But sometimes I noticed that heavy apps took some time to load. Multitasking was a breeze and you can easily switch between multiple apps without waiting for them to load all over again.
u
The fingerprint scanner which is placed at the backside of the device is quick to unlock the phone. You can also get the option of face-unlock which is very fast. What I liked is the AMOLED display of this device which is the best part of the Samsung Galaxy M21 and you can enjoy watching videos on this smartphone. Speaker is tiny, which dampened the overall experience slightly.

It’s the time to play PUBG Mobile on the Samsung Galaxy M21 to see how the phone handles it. The game defaulted to the High settings with graphics set to HD and the frame rate set to High. You will notice some occasional stutter in gameplay which prompted us to drop the graphics quality. After playing the game for 15 minutes the device was slightly warm and we also noticed a 3 2battery drop.

samsung m21

Battery life was excellent. Samsung M21 comes with a 6,000mAh big battery. The phone lasted for two full days of regular use. In the HD video loop test, it managed to last for 21 hours and 48 minutes, but as you already know Samsung phones do automatically reduce brightness once the battery falls below a certain level. It will take approximately 2 hours to fully charge the device. You will get a 15W charger in the box, the device goes to 21 percent in 30 minutes and 42 percent in an hour.

samsung m21

Final Words

The Samsung Galaxy M21 looks a lot like the Samsung Galaxy M30s. Its key specifications are very similar to the older device. The main differences are Android 10 and a higher resolution selfie shooter, but the Galaxy M30s recently got an update to One UI 2.0, in which the selfie camera is pretty much the only differentiator. Surprisingly, the price of Samsung Galaxy M21 lower than the Galaxy M30s. The lower price and the better chance of getting updated to Android 11 at some point tip the scales in the Galaxy M21’s favor.

However, Galaxy M21 is just an average device at this price segment. You can also take a look at competitors such as the Realme 6 and the Redmi Note 9 Pro which offers much more impressive performance and better cameras at nearly the same price.

I will be glad to know if you have any questions regarding this phone or about anything in the comment box below.

SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 10+ DESIGN

The Samsung Galaxy Note10+ comes with a new design and has a unique Infinity-O display. The design is similar to the S10 series as it also has a camera but on the corner of the screen and on the Note+ you can see the camera in the centre of the display. This Infinity-O display won’t distract you.

Galaxy Note 10+ has a huge display which curves on the sides. It has thin bezels on both top and bottom of the phone. The backside of the phone gives you a premium look as it is made of glass. It also has curves on the sides. This phone is very comfortable to hold. The overall design of the phone is very good and gives you a premium feel.

BUTTON PLACEMENT

The right side of the phone is completely empty, and all the buttons are placed on the left side. This feels a little odd at first. On the Galaxy Note 10+, you will get the Bixby button on the left side, but you can also use this button as the power button. Taping the button lets the phone move down in standby mode and the long press allows you to use Bixby feature.

The behaviour of the buttons can be changed to the traditional setting.

The microphone is placed on the top of the device with a hybrid dual sim tray. The primary microphone, USB Type-C port, loudspeaker grille, and the S Pen are placed on the bottom of the phone. Galaxy Note 10+ comes with a four-camera at the back. Three sensors are placed in a single module and the fourth sensor is next to it the LED flash.

3.5mm Headphone jack is missing in this device. But Samsung gives you an AKG headphone in the box, with a USB Type-C connector. The sound quality is very good and you don’t need to buy another headphone.

COLOURS

You will get three colours options in India: Aura Glow, Aura Black, and Aura White. Aura Glow looks like a mirror finish and splits light into green, orange, and red when it bounces off the back.

samsung galaxy note10+

BOX CONTENTS

Samsung gives you a transparent case in the box. Galaxy Note 10+ charger is rated at 25W — although the phone supports fast-charging up to 45W — and has a USB Type-C port. Galaxy Note 10+ comes with a charging cable with USB Type-C connectors. Both devices Galaxy Note10+ and the S Pen are rated IP68 for dust and water resistance.

SOFTWARE AND SPECIFICATIONS

Samsung claims that Galaxy Note10+ is the highest-end smartphone in the Note series. Samsung powered this phone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor in some parts of the world, but, in India, Samsung powered this device by the Exynos 9825. This is an upgrade over the Exynos 9820 which was used for Samsung in the previous Galaxy S10 series. Octa-core processor is used which is based on a 7nm process with two custom cores clocked at 2.7GHz, two Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 2.4GHz, and four Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.9GHz.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ comes with 12GB of RAM and you can choose between 256GB and 512GB of internal storage. You can expand the storage on the Galaxy Note 10+ and for this, you have to use a microSD card to add up to 1TB more space. The hybrid dual-SIM tray is placed at the top of the phone.

You will get 4G as well as VOLTE on both the sims. You will get Bluetooth 5, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, and four satellite navigation systems. Samsung Galaxy Note10+ is powered with a 4,300mAh battery. You will get a 45W fast charging support along with wireless charging 2.0 as well as wireless reverse charging, Samsung calls this Wireless PowerShare.

DISPLAY

Samsung has used a huge 6.8-inch Super AMOLED display with a QHD+ resolution for this device. Resolutions can be changed. This Super AMOLED panel is also HDR10+ certified. You can choose between two display modes, Vivid and Natural.

Samsung has combined this display with stereo speakers. The earpiece doubles up like the second speaker. The Galaxy Note 10+ supports Dolby Atmos. You can select between different audio profiles and if you want you can select it at auto.

samsung galaxy note10+

You will get an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor in Galaxy Note 10+. It unlocks the smartphone very quickly. I found it to be well-positioned and useful too. You can unlock this phone with the help of face unlock.

The Galaxy Note 10+ comes with Android Pie and the latest version of UI. It has an app drawer, and when you swipe right from the home screen it takes you to Bixby Home. Samsung, Google, as well as Microsoft gives some preinstalled apps on this smartphone, along with Facebook and Netflix. My Galaxy app kept pushing spammy notifications, which you can disable.

Gaming Mode

Samsung’s Game Launcher collects all your installed games together. You can choose between three modes which are “Focus on Power Saving”, “Balanced”, and “Focus on Performance” for all games. By default, the phone is set to Focus on Performance.

samsung galaxy note10+

Other Features

Digital Wellbeing mode is also present on the Samsung Galaxy Note10+. UI has the traditional three-button navigation layout, but you can switch to swipe-based gesture navigation.

Samsung has worked with Microsoft to add a new feature called Link to Windows. This app lets you connect the device to a Windows PC so that you can access text messages, notifications, and recent photos, etc.

Samsung’s Dex feature now works on both Windows PC or Mac simply by connecting the Note 10+ to it using a USB cable. You have to download the Samsung Dex app on the Windows/ Mac machine to use this feature.

samsung galaxy note10+

Samsung Galaxy Note10+ S Pen

So talking about the S Pen, which distinguishes the Note series from all other Samsung smartphones. This time the S Pen is thin as compared to the previous one which we have seen. It connects to the Galaxy Note 10+ via Bluetooth and the S Pen charges automatically when it is in its silo.

samsung galaxy note10+

You can jot down the stuff quickly by pulling out the S Pen from its silo when the screen is off. So that you can take notes. When you pull out the S Pen it automatically launches Air Command, which lists all the different actions you can perform with it. There is also an option of Smart Select which lets you select content on the screen to share directly. AR Doodle switches the cameras. PenUp option allows you to draw using the S Pen. This device is now able to recognize and transcribe what is written in the notes, with the help of optical character recognition. This makes your handwritten text searchable as well as readable.

Over the generations, Samsung has added more and more Air Features to the S Pen, giving it more functionality as compared to the S Pen that we have seen on the Note 9. The button on the S Pen can also be used as a shutter button for the camera app, but now using gestures you can switch between the primary and the front selfie camera, you can also change camera modes, zoom in, and zoom out.

samsung galaxy note10+

PERFORMANCE AND BATTERY LIFE

Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ offers stunning performance. We never wait for anything to load, and even heavy apps were quick to load thanks to the 12GB Ram. With 12GB of RAM, multitasking is a breeze even with multiple apps running in the background. We opened over 45 apps on the device and doesn’t notice any kind of lag.

Note 10+ display has good viewing angles and it automatically gets bright when we are outdoors. The display support for HDR10+ and you can enjoy HDR videos. The speakers are quite loud, and the stereo effect adds to the experience.

samsung galaxy note10+

We played PUBG Mobile on the smartphone, and all the settings were set to high, and the phone showed no signs of lags. We played for 20 minutes at these settings and the device get slightly warm to the touch. The device dropped a 6 per cent battery at that time, which is acceptable. The Infinity-O display was not an issue while playing PUBG Mobile.

BATTERY LIFE

Samsung Galaxy Note10+ comes with a 4300mAh battery, which delivers good battery life. In the HD video loop test, the Galaxy Note 10+ managed to run for 17 hours, 9 minutes.

You can charge the phone quickly with the help of bundled 25W charger, which can charge the Galaxy Note 10+ fully in a little over an hour.

samsung galaxy note10+

FINAL WORDS

Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ is currently the best smartphone in India, and it is the new flagship phone by Samsung. This smartphone has a stunning display, quad cameras, and lots of software enhancements. You will also notice the hole at the top of the display.

samsung galaxy note10+

Samsung has added some new functionality to the S Pen in the form of Air Actions. The S Pen is very useful as a remote shutter button for the camera, the other gestures feel quite gimmicky. The Galaxy Note 10+ gives you good battery life, with the use of fast charging.

You have to pay Rs. 79,999 for 12GB of RAM, and 256GB storage , and Rs. 89,999 for top-end variant which is 12GB RAM, and 512GB storage . Galaxy Note 10+ seems too expensive. However, in terms of performance, software and hardware package isn’t exorbitantly overpriced. If you have enough money and you want to use the latest technology and you don’t mind spending much money, the Galaxy Note 10+ is one of the best devices that money can buy at the moment.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Design

Samsung has launched its Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

Galaxy Note 9 is a really big phone. It’s quite good to see that the glassy back is not slippery. It weighs 201g and you’ll really feel it, whether you’re watching a movie, typing a message, or just carrying the phone.

The front and rear are made up of glass, and the frame is made up of aluminum. This phone is well crafted, and the materials seem to flow into each other perfectly. The cameras on the rear raised by less than a millimeter, and there’s a slightly raised border around the camera for protection.

The size of the screen has raised to 6.4 inches, from 6.3 on the Galaxy Note 8. It is difficult to say that this is a huge improvement made by Samsung in terms of design. Samsung’s own Super AMOLED production line has been serving its flagship phone and Note 9 also comes with the same display. It’s bright, crisp, and punchy.

The USP of the Galaxy Note series is the S Pen. This little stylus was meant to help position the original Galaxy Note as a smartphone for getting work done on, but its work and utility increased over the years. With the new Galaxy Note 9, Samsung is turning it into a style statement as well. The Ocean Blue variant, has a bright yellow S Pen with a gold end cap, just to draw the attention. The other colour options for this phone have also their matching S Pens. You have to use a fingernail to push the clasp that releases the stylus from its silo.

OTHER OPTIONS

The fingerprint sensor on the rear has been moved into a central position which is a good thing. Because of the big size of this phone, it’s still somewhat out of reach. The heart rate and oxygen saturation sensors are on one side of the cameras, and it would be easy to forget that they’re even there. Another little annoyance is the Bixby button which is right side at the place of the volume buttons.

Most people will be very happy to see that Samsung has not dropped the 3.5mm headphones jack. The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

SPECIFICATIONS AND SOFTWARE

Samsung has not added much new thing, It has used the same Exynos 9810 processor that Samsung has used in the Samsung Galaxy S9, and this means that there are no new hardware features to boast of.

Samsung has used the Super AMOLED screen in Note 9 and has a screen resolution of 1440×2960 with 516ppi of the pixel density. You can watch time and notifications as Samsung has an always-on feature that shows the time and notification icons dimly even when the phone is off.

There are two variants of this phone. The base variant has 128GB of storage and 6GB of RAM, and you can also expand the storage up to 512GB with 8GB of RAM. The Indian variant, Galaxy Note 9 has a hybrid dual-SIM design so if you don’t need a second SIM. you can switch to a microSD card for more storage.

note 9 price
Samsung Galaxy Note 9

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is loaded with 4000mAh battery, which Samsung says it will last all day. Both charging options are available on Note 9 i.e wireless charging and fast charging.

Above the screen, there is an iris scanner, which Samsung promises more reliable biometric authentication than simple face recognition. Samsung’s Intelligent Scan option is available which uses both iris and face recognition together. You’ll also have to tap the power or home buttons; to recognize your face when it’s in standby.

Note 9 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with the security patch of July 2018. Samsung has not specified yet when it will release an Android Pie update. The Settings app in Note 9 is completely settled, the first-party apps by Samsung are mostly useful, Samsung’s Knox encryption gives you data security and privacy, and Samsung Pay is now widely accepted as a payment option.

note 9 price

FINAL VERDICT

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9 Price is a good smartphone with top-end features. It is best for those people who love the latest and greatest features. The cost of the Galaxy S9 Plus (128GB) is nearly the same as Galaxy Note 9 (128GB). You will get nearly the same features on both the devices but one thing you won’t get is S Pen.

If you want to see the same kind of performance then you can also check for OnePlus 6, Asus Zenfone 5Z. But you won’t get any kind of S Pen and the accompanying Android integration. No doubt Samsung worked hard on it’s S Pen and made it more functional than ever.

The good battery life is another USP of the Galaxy Note 9. But the size and weight will be a little annoying for a lot of people. This phone will definitely serve a power user who wants to get work done. In a world full of nearly identical smartphones with tough competition, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 does stand out, and while it is expensive, you get what you pay for.

Samsung has launched its latest flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite. Galaxy S10 lite comes with a big, crisp display. It comes with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ panel with a Full-HD+ with a resolution of 1080×2400 and support for HDR10+. Samsung has protected this phone with Gorilla Glass, although it hasn’t specified which version. Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite has kept the bezels all around the screen pretty slim, including the chin below, which makes the front quite good looking and striking. Colours are punchy of this phone, and the brightness is also good.

The Galaxy S10 Lite uses something called ‘Glastic’ for the back of the phone. The entire body feels hard and well put-together. It’s has a huge fingerprint and smudge magnet. We’d like to advise buyers to use the bundled case for the protection of this phone. The rectangular camera module protrudes slightly, but it’s not too obtrusive.

s10 lite

Button placement by Samsung is very comfortable and good. On the left side, you will get a hybrid dual-SIM tray that can either take two Nano-SIM cards or a single SIM and a microSD card. The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite doesn’t have a headphone socket, which means you’ll have to either use the bundled Type-C headset or you have to go wireless. At the bottom of the phone, we have a USB Type-C port and a single speaker.

Samsung has cut a few corners with the construction materials, but despite not having used aluminum and glass, the Galaxy S10 Lite still feels fairly good to hold. It’s also quite slim at 8.1mm. Its weight is near about 186g which is not too heavy for a phone with a large display and battery.

s10 lite

Specifications And Software

Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite is loaded with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, which is one of Qualcomm’s flagship chips and is still good even though it is now a year old. It would have been nice to see if Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite has the Snapdragon 855+ variant, which other phones such as the OnePlus 7T and Asus ROG Phone 2 use, but this is still better than a 700-series processor.

s10 lite

Samsung has launched the Galaxy S10 Lite only in one variant in India, with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Talking about other specifications of this phone include dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5, support for four satellite navigation systems, FM radio, and NFC. All the sensors you’d typically expect are present. The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite comes with a 4,500mAh battery, which Samsung says should last for around two days.

The Galaxy S10 Lite runs on One UI 2.0, based on Android 10. The latest version of Samsung’s skin looks more refined and polished. The ‘Link to Windows’ feature lets you see your messages and notifications on a computer or laptop supporting Windows 10, similar to what we saw in the Galaxy Note 10+. You also get more features such as an in-built screen recorder, multiple motion gestures, a one-handed mode, and Game Launcher for organizing all your games in one place.

PERFORMANCE AND BATTERY LIFE

Samsung has used Snapdragon 855 which proves to be a very efficient and capable processor, so day to day task is easy. Multitasking works smoothly, we didn’t notice any lag when running heavy apps or games.

The Galaxy S10 Lite did get fairly warm after playing PUBG for about 20 minutes. The phone can be a bit awkward because of its big size though, both in the hand and in your pocket.

Samsung offers you an in-display fingerprint sensor, which is quick at unlocking the phone. The single-camera in the punch-hole cutout can be used for face recognition too. This method works well, even in low light, but the raise-to-wake gesture was quite slow.

s10 lite

The speaker doesn’t get very loud but when you are using headphones you can enable Dolby Atmos enhancement. Videos look very good on the display because of the SUPER AMOLED display. The default ‘Natural’ color profile makes everything look a bit muted, but when you switch to ‘Vivid’ adds some much-needed intensity to colors.

Battery life was pretty solid. With heavy usage, the Galaxy S10 Lite still managed to last about a day and a half, and with more frugal use, we could stretch this to around two days.

In an hour we were able to charge the Galaxy S10 Lite up to 98 percent, which is very impressive. The adapter has a Type-C connector, so you’ll need to include Type-C cable to Type-C cable in order to use it.

s10 lite

Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite Camera

Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite comes with three rear cameras and a single front camera. At the backside of the phone, there is a primary 48-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture and optical image stabilization; a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture; and a 5-megapixel macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture. For the selfie lovers, Samsung offers a camera with a 32-megapixel sensor and an f/2.2 aperture.

FINAL WORDS ABOUT SAMSUNG GALAXY S10 LITE

Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite is a good package but at the price range of Rs. 40,000, we think the price is a bit higher. We say this especially since you could instead buy the top-end variant of the OnePlus 7t for less, and that phone offers various additional features such as a high refresh-rate display, a more premium glass and metal body, and many more. The base variant of the Asus ROG Phone 2 is also available for under Rs. 40,000, and offers much better gaming features. Then there’s the Oppo Reno 2 as well, which has a very good hybrid zoom camera system.

s10 lite

Before the Galaxy S10 Lite came along, Samsung had only the Galaxy A80 in this price segment, which is still a very interesting phone with its rotating triple- camera module. Sadly, the Galaxy A80 hasn’t gotten much popularity since it launched last year and has just flown under the radar. Samsung also has the new Galaxy Note 10 Lite which sells for around the same price. On paper, it offers better rear cameras and the S Pen stylus, but it also has an old processor, which is a strange choice.

We think that if Samsung shaved around Rs. 5,000 off the Galaxy S10 Lite’s current price, then it would be a better deal.

The Galaxy S10 Lite’s positioning seems like an attempt to capture some of OnePlus’ market share, and while we’re not entirely convinced that it will be able to do so that at its current price.

I hope my Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite review is helpful for you.

I will be glad to know if you have any questions regarding this phone or about anything in the comment box below.

Pros and Cons of Samsung Galaxy Fold

As you know every coin has two sides one good and one bad. The same rule applies to the Samsung Galaxy Fold. it also has its pros and cons. Let’s discuss some of them :

Pros of Samsung Galaxy Fold

FUTURISTIC DESIGN

So what about the design? Using a futuristic device is quite the best experience. There are two screens in galaxy fold; the first is what we see when we hold the phone when it’s folded up. It’s a small, 4.6-inch Super AMOLED HD screen with a resolution of 1,680 × 720 and it’s surrounded by thick bezels that make it feel and look like it’s from 2008. now open it like a book, however, and you’re welcomed to a sprawling 7.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen with a QXGA+ resolution of 2,152 × 1,536.
The 7.3-inch screen steals the spotlight. Samsung calls it an Infinity Flex display, and it’s made from bonded layers of polymer material rather than glasses. An opening is easy once you get a good grip on the edges, but snapping it shut is so much more satisfying.

Samsung Galaxy Fold review

GOOD BATTERY

Samsung galaxy fold is loaded with a large 4,380mAh capacity battery. It’s a dual-cell battery, but all we need to know is that battery life is good. if you are a medium user, which involved using the Fold for browsing social media, messaging, and more, I frequently ended with about 50 percent battery life around 6 p.m. depending on it more to watch videos, play games, read via the Kindle app, and stream music choked the battery more, but the Fold still managed to get through a full day, with around 30 percent battery left by 7 p.m. It’s not as great as the iPhone 11 Pro Max, but it does a good job.

We can charge the Galaxy Fold wirelessly — unfolded or folded — or with a USB Type-C charging cable. Samsung galaxy fold supports fast charging, it’s only for Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 technology, which isn’t as fast as other Android phones that use Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 or other proprietary technology. It’s not going to charge as fast as the Note 10 Plus. Still, the phone managed to go from 5 percent to full in around two hours’ time.

STUNNING PERFORMANCE

The Samsung galaxy fold, like it’s Galaxy S10 siblings, it is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 processor. It’s the latest flagship chipset of choice this year, and some other Android phones use it already. It’s paired with a staggering 12GB of RAM, as well as 512GB of internal storage. There’s no MicroSD card slot so you can’t expand storage, but I don’t think unlikely you’ll need much more.

I’d usually say 12GB of RAM is overkill, but considering this may be one of the few smartphones you’ll be using to multitask with other apps open, it’s a little more warranted on this device than any other. I haven’t run into any issues with performance on the Galaxy Fold. Multitasking poses no problem, and games like PUBG Mobile run well on the 7.3-inch screen.

Samsung Galaxy Fold review

EXCELLENT CAMERA

The camera experience on the Samsung Galaxy Fold is somewhat similar to the camera of Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus, but with more cameras — six to be specific. There’s a 10-megapixel lens on the front, as well as a 10-megapixel lens paired with an 8-megapixel 3D depth sensor on the front when the screen is unfolded. On the rear, you’ll find a 16-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 12-megapixel standard lens, and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens.

The galaxy Fold is quick to take pictures, which are colorful and detailed in good lighting conditions, and there’s solid HDR, so images never look too underexposed or overexposed. The triple camera setup on the rear makes it a versatile system, as you can zoom in or go ultrawide for the perfect shot. These two cameras falter in low light, though, as details are often muddy. The main standard camera, which can switch to a wider aperture at night, fares better, but it’s not as strong as the night time shots we’ve seen come out of the iPhone 11, Huawei P30 Pro, or Google Pixel 3.

On top of all this, you can capture 4K HDR video, which offers a cinematic and colorful look to your videos, and there’s a Super Steady mode that sacrifices some image quality for smooth shots.

However, Details of the image are often lacking when compared to selfies from the iPhone 11 or Pixel 3.You want to use the selfie camera on the inner screen — the one with the extra depth-sensing camera — as Live Focus selfies are a little bit better. There’s better accuracy with the blur, and photos are generally more vibrant. These selfie cameras can capture 4K UHD video if you plan on vlogging in high quality.

BEST CAMERA?

It’s not the best camera system, but on the other hand, six cameras on the Galaxy Fold will satisfy you and its versatility means you have more ways than one to take a photo.

Cons of Samsung galaxy fold

Premium price

The flagship phone Samsung Galaxy Fold is an ambitious phone that is also extremely expensive and frighteningly fragile. But the Fold is not just a fancy flagship phone that can fold into half. It is a future of things to come, which nearly all big brands in the industry want to explore or may be currently working on it. The Galaxy Fold has a lot riding on it, as the future of foldable phones will have a lot to do with how the Galaxy Fold is received and the impact it makes.

On the surface, the Galaxy Fold’s core appeal lies in its futuristic design and top-of-the-line internals, but that is just half the picture. Samsung presents the Galaxy Fold as a no-compromise device that redefines how we can experience a phone.

Samsung Galaxy Fold review

SCREEN DURABILITY ISSUE

The experts and tests also show that dust is still going to be a huge problem for this kind of display because of the small particles of dust getting underneath the display in the original Fold design caused problems for early reviewers almost immediately, but Samsung is claiming that they will likely to fix the problem in its updated design. The durability of the Samsung Galaxy Fold test here puts more dust onto the Galaxy Fold than you’d have in your pocket on any given day, but it also gives cause for concern for people who live in naturally dusty areas or simply want to bring their phone to the beach.

CONCLUSION

Meanwhile. It’s been a long, long road for Samsung to reach this point.

Now after taking the Samsung Galaxy Fold review we came to know that this phone covers all the basic smartphone features and then some. The phone has good screens, a good set of cameras, a good battery life. Samsung was sure to give the phone wireless charging, high-quality audio system, as well as something extras such as wireless earbuds and just a simple case. The hardware is certainly unique, and the ability to use the phone open or closed makes it a more flexible option.

In conclusion, I like the Samsung Galaxy Fold and the inflection point at which it stands. While the galaxy Fold isn’t perfect for me or most of the people it’s a step toward the future. We’ll have to wait to see where it’s path ends.

Most importantly If you’re ready to spend so many coins on such a fragile device, perhaps it would be best to take the wait and see approach.
